Sorry Il Padrino, silly lyrics aside, Def Leppard rocks.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I don't single out just Def Leppard. I hate all those awful hair bands and have never liked any of their songs.

I like Def Leppard and Van Halen. I like a few songs here and there by the other hair bands (I graduated in 88 so that may explain why) but I don't consider myself a big fan of hair bands. Although I liked some of the 80s hair bands and went to a few concerts, I was never a "rocker" in high school (you know - the guys that liked to emulate the hair bands in their style of dress).

I'll quit the hair band jokes now and, just to show you I am sane, will tell you in all honesty that BigFatMeanie's Official Greatest Band Ever is either Led Zeppelin or The Beatles. I vacillate between the two depending on my mood.

No worries. I like a lot of what Van Halen did as well, but that's probably because they're not in the hair genre.

Let me help you out: Led Zeppelin.

I don't know... David Lee Roth seemed rather hair band to me. Maybe not Sammy Hagar so much.

I liked the hair music, but my Big 5 in high school were Zeppelin, Floyd, AC/DC, VH, and Rush.

You do have some redeeming qualities, at least I know your bands.

Sweet! AND I've taken up running, in preparation for the St. George marathon. So there's two positives to slightly offset my myraid of non-redeeming qualities.
