Did you leave because it was crowded or because there were gay people there?

Default Combination of the two...

Disneyland is a gay friendly place, so they're always going to be there, but when every time you turn around you're seeing two men grabbing each other, making out, holding hands...It's not fun, and I go to Disneyland to have fun.

As tolerant as you are, do you enjoy gay sexuality on display. Although I have several gay couples as clients, they are respectful and do not display their sexuality publicly. And these couples are lesbians.

I would not enjoy male gayness on display, as it aesthetically unpleasing and just not a public matter. We're not talking about the very artistic paintings of two heterosexual lovers in Paris.

I suppose it's PC to say it's beautifu, but in reality it's not. Confess now, whe you see a romatic display by a heterosexual couple, do you focus upon the gal? I do. I just ignore the guy because he's an afterthought.

When I go to a club and see two women making out on the dance floor, I'm the exact opposite of repulsed. When I see two guys groping, I'm usually just indifferent.

When it comes to public affection, it's all about context. Making out in church is usually a bad thing, regardless of sexual orientation. Ugly people making out usually makes me queasy -- it doesn't matter if the couple is heterosexual or homosexual. Old people making out in public also makes me uncomfortable. Drunken making out in a club never repulses me, no matter who's involved and no matter what their particular genders happen to be.

It also depends on the degree of affection on display. If I'm at Disneyland, I don't really want to see anyone making out, be they heterosexual or homosexual. But if they are just holding hands or embracing, it really isn't a big deal. The whole thing about it being "aesthetically unpleasing" makes no sense to me. I don't get that.

Call me a homophobe if you wish, (which I wouldn't care if anyone did anyway), but I'm not down for public displays of affection between 2 dudes gettin it on, whether that be hugging, kissing, holding hands.

It's nauseating.

There are some famous black and white photos of couples in Paris, which is one of my favorite cities btw. The balance between man and woman, the harmony of the physiques, the color contrasts, and everything about the expression of romance, although now trite, remains quite aesthetically pleasing.

Two fat guys going at it, would destroy the symmetry of it. Perhaps we should have a universal law that fat and ugly people should not be seen displaying affection. Do it in the privacy of your home, but please avoid eye polution. We need eye candy, not polution. See, and some of you were concerned I wasn't environmental enough.

Do you ever notice the "guy" in any artistic expression of romance? I just critically analyzed myself, and noticed I subconciously turn off any recognition of a male participating, noticing only the female. It's almost as if one vicariously inserts oneself into one of the roles, so you focus upon your own opposite.

LOL. Hijack away, buddy. This is an interesting discussion.

But I may still take you up on the offer.

What about snorkeling?
I hear there are some kelp forests off of Laguna Beach somewhere that provide good snorkeling - I haven't done it yet, but some day maybe.

I've been to Disneyland quite a few times and haven't noticed any gay affection, although a large black woman once pinched my brother's butt in front of the castle, and my brother's gay. That's as close as it's come for me.
