I'mnot saying that you WANT to compete with CB, nor am I saying that is the language in the rule. Based upon my own correspondence with El Jefe, however (of which he eventually grew tired and simply quit responsding to me), I believe that he sees this site as a competitor and so chooses to remain vigilant in refusing to allow any advertising of it on CB. Just my own guess.
Hoiepfully you won't mmake stupid typists feel unwelcome or I will be in trouble. Dang I shoudl have learned how to do this properly when I was young! |

It is funny the variation in what is and what is not allowed as advertising. I used to have a link to a website for Crimson Digest, which was at the time a start up fan magazine, and Jefe told me I had to remove it for advertising. However, others post links to blogs and various other sites without a problem. The administration of it is just odd, crimson digest was not allowed but webmonkey has utefans.net in his signature without a problem.

Got my first ban yesterday
I got my first ban for this post which was totally intended to be a mockery of the other posts regarding gays on CB yesterday:
Subject: "Moral Dilemma" Body:"So I just got my hotel reservations for Vegas and they casino included $10 of gaming credit! Will I got to hades if I use it? After all it's not my money. This is a tough one. Maybe I should give it to a gay person since they're going to hades anyway. Or I could give to a welfare recipient and if they win a jackpot, grape won't have to feed them anymore. Decisions, decisions." I would have thought it would take much more to be banned. Glad this site is out here. |

Now that is funny..
on that board, if a post is banned, it's most likely a good post.
You're safe here, friend. Speak your mind. And, FWIW, give your money to a gay welfare recipient.

Interesting FMCoug, it appears you fell victim to the unwritten rule that you cannot post something funny.

Maybe it just has to be John Bytheway / Halestorm / Napoleon Dynamite humor.

Don't get me started on John Bytheway. He dated my cousin for a while (she ended up marrying his roommate). He dumped her, telling her that he didn't think she was good enough for him.

If someone told me I had to like John Bytheway to be Mormon I would have walked out of the church and gone to the nearest strip club and got drunk.
