The advertisement was hilarious. I don't see how anyone would be up in arms over the ad. Maybe it did cross the line, but if you want to make yourself the face of the Yes on Prop 8 campaign, you have to suspect that people are going to bring the fight back to you.

Agreed. We don't have any room to complain on this one. If you don't like the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

The ironic thing is that this ad will likely backfire, in that it would turn off a number of reasonable moderates. People generally like missionaries; not terribly bright to try to paint them like this. Maybe they'll make a catholic version involving nuns.

lol...just a point that you didn't see the Church put out any attack ads.

By the way,,if they had....the backlash would be much more angry and people would be shitting a brick about how dare they do that. Aside from all that "how dare they do that" crap right now.
