It's a method of inquiry, that is all. It doesn't really seek to solve any questions but adds more questions.

Are we debating what "knowledge" is again?

Tooblue is persuaded by the evidence. He calls that state of being knowledge. Archaea thinks knowledge is too strong a term for when one is persuaded by the evidence.

Does that about sum it up?

"Know" is not the word I would use either, but in the context of our cultural construct I don't begrudge tooblue the use of it. I know what he means. Or if I think he is deluding himself, what of it?

I think it's more of a means of artisitic expression than anything else. Maybe an outlook. At most it's a philosophical perspective. I wouldn't call it an empirical method of inquiry.

It's an outlook, and a method or reexamination, but it's not limited to artistic expression, as it often focuses upon the limits of expression.

I don't begrudge him using it in Church, but when he uses it outside of the friendly confines of the chapel, I find it not useful in cross cultural discussions. You're only asking for confusion in that context.
