Default Religious perspective:

When you think religiously do you restrain your thoughts by referring to the religious teachings of your youth and adulthood, trying to stay close to the definitions and propositions taught to you, fearing to stray because those leaders knew better than you?

Or do you use them as guideposts to frame the initiation of your religious experience?

Do you fear wandering off the path or finding something inconsistent with what you have been taught?
