I'm sticking to Aliens/UFOs and Supersting Theory for now. But thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately not that much was ever revealed by JS regarding the creation so it's not likely to be terribly fruitful.

And remember, you are talking to someone who believes that the end times, as predicted by Joseph Smith, is possibly the time the sun envelops the earth, or the earth falls into the black hole the sun becomes. So I am not afraid of discussing long time periods.

JS believed in the Genesis creation story. Don't kid yourself. See the Book of Abraham, temple ceremony, many references in the D&C and B of M, for example.

Isn't evolution one issue that the Church never officially screwed up on? We have people like B.H. Roberts to thank for that.

Good grief. B.H. Roberts was "the Church" like Galileo was Catholic. He was probably the first to attack B of M historisity. He was major source for No Man Knows My History.
