Economic woes are good for us!

We had an older lady in my ward bear her testimony that perhaps these tough times, if they come, will be good, because ward members will help each other and love each other more. And maybe materialism will decline.

I wanted to raise my fist and cheer.

That article is full of crap.

People will still drink and smoke. Those under the poverty line today find a way to buy their alcohol and tobacco.

Gobal warming will slow down? What a crock. The earth warms and cools if there are humans or not.

Economic equality? That is socialism.

Do you believe that public schools in Dallas will get better as suggested?

Local business? This bailout hurts Mom and Pop stores because they aren't the beneficiaries of the bailout. It's all to keep the big boys in business.
