I guess one of the consequences will be that if your teacher gets married, you will have the option to attend the wedding, only if your parents give their permission.

First of all, I would argue it's inappropriate for a class to take a "field trip" to see ANY wedding, gay, straight, polygamist, whatever.

Secondly, if not for gay marriages being allowed, this "field trip" would never occurred, and SIX year old kids would not have been exposed to this issue.

The field trip also wouldn't have occurred if people were prohibited from having children. Why do you support preventing people from having children? Seems a bit harsh.
