I guess one of the consequences will be that if your teacher gets married, you will have the option to attend the wedding, only if your parents give their permission.

I never thought about it that way. That sounds really dangerous.

Hey Norcal, I have a question for you on this.

Since the teacher is a lesbian, should she be allowed to teach kids of this age? I'm not asserting anything here, I'm just trying to see where you are coming from.

Please avoid the Slippery Slope arguments that are meant to instill fear in the hearts of redneck Americans everywhere. They do no good and they make those who use them seem like uneducated bigots from the backwoods of America. As they're talking someone might as well be strumming a banjo and blowing into one of the moonshine jugs to make the situation as serious as possible. And don't forget to have your shotgun sitting on your lap just in case one of them dirty 'Mos comes to hear ya talk.

Peace

As you should. English is capitalized.

Their parents are happy to expose them to this issue and probably aren't afraid their kids will catch the gay. Sounds to me like they figured out a way to save some gas money by getting the bus scheduled.
"Catch the gay". That seriously made me laugh. Do you mind if I use it?

First of all, I would argue it's inappropriate for a class to take a "field trip" to see ANY wedding, gay, straight, polygamist, whatever.

Secondly, if not for gay marriages being allowed, this "field trip" would never occurred, and SIX year old kids would not have been exposed to this issue.
The field trip also wouldn't have occurred if people were prohibited from having children. Why do you support preventing people from having children? Seems a bit harsh.

What do you have against fudge packers? What if they were cheese purchasers? What if they were milk producers?

A quality post for NorCal is the number of times he can say 'fudge packers' and 'lesbo' in a post. Only 2 for you...c'mon, you can do better than that.
