Hm, that is a good point. I think they see what will happen should homosexual marriage be allowed to thrive, and I agree that it's not a good thing for our values. So... I suppose the FP is supporting Prop 8 because it seems to be destined to set a precedence for many other states. I've never thought of it that way, thanks.

Not my point (turnabout here is fair). I am nto talking about it as a precedent for other states, I am talking about a vision of what might happen if it passes here in California. It could be a simple rational analysis, or it could be somethign more spiritual/supernatiural. Iam not sure, but the approach you put forth does not allow for nor explain this possibility.

I felt the same way at first...we should stay out of politics.

The broadcast they had 3 weeks ago Elder Ballard made it very clear that this wasn't a political issue, the Church has gotten involved because this is a "moral" issue.

It made it easier for me to support it.
