These people were delayed in traffic and were subjected to loud people with signs. That's some scary shit.

As long as the protest doesn't overtly mock what's going on in the temple, or doesn't trespass, I think it is understandable.

In a way, Mormons actually like to be persecuted.

Yes, I think that's true. It's a sign that devil is really pissed. How often do we hear that the better we are, the harder the goatee'd one will try.

Good old Max Parkin opened my eyes once in an insti-fruit class at the U. Class was on Church History and the Missouri persecution was being discussed. Someone commented on how the devil made the Missourians hate the church. Max answered in a very kind, yet insightful manner of what was going on and what led to the hard feelings. The devil didn't just make them hate the church, but used offenses (real or perceived) to drive a wedge.

There's nothing that makes me feel more alive than going to General Conference and seeing giant billboards of half-aborted babies being driven around the Conference Center. Really invites the Spirit.

I would have to agree with this - at least in my case. I'm being serious when I say I enjoy going to GC and other events where there are protestors, etc.

It's good, solid, entertainment to watch people make fools of themselves in public.
