Aside from the normal homerism that blinds every fanbase.....seems to me this post was actually pretty spot on.

Perhaps the fans aren't ready to give up on Whittingham...right or wrong, that would be my guess.

As for the content of the post, I see where the poster is coming from, but let's be honest, attendence is what people turn to when they need to pile on their reasons for firing a guy. Was Giacolletti fired because the team sucked? Or because people were't showing up? It's a chicken and egg thing...bad team, nobody shows up.

If Whit were able to win out and finish 9-3, nobody on the hill would be hitting the panic button, IMO. Will he do that? Probably not...but when you are in the midst of a possible turn around...it's hard to figure why someone would come on and post that it was only a matter of time before the current coach gets fired.
