Default Texas Tech fan to kick for the Red Raiders

It amazes me that Big time D1 programs are this hard up to find a kicker. To find your kicker during a timeout is kinda pathetic. I know kicker is not a big priority when it comes to recruiting but it really should be. Imagine all the games lost because of the kicker. It must be pretty hard to find a decent kicker.

Utah is lucky to have Louie.

At any large university you have a pool of about 10-20 kids who were good soccer players in high school that could do a decent job kicking.

Didnt Boston College get its kicker in a similar manner? or was he just a regular walk-on? I seem to recall the BC kicker's situation being out of the norm.

I am not sure if that was the case there.

Katie Hnida deserves another shot. Has she used up all her eligibility?
