Early Cosby Show episodes still make me laugh aloud. And what's up -- no votes for Mama's Family yet? "VINTON!"

I love the Cosby Show. But what cracks me up is that they added a kid (Sonia) the second season...just randomly, "Oh, by the way here's this kid we never told you about."

And I can't believe no one likes the Brady Bunch...
What could be better than a show with entire episodes dedicated to teeter-totter tournaments and imaginary boyfriends?

An excellent list, (Dick Van Dyke was an excellent choice that nobody has mentioned). But I honestly can't see leaving Lucy out of any all-time top 10.

No Silver Spoons?

No Webster?

Well, I am no expert on sitcoms (not by a long shot), but here is my list of favorites over the years:

All in the Family
MASH
Taxi
Cheers
Seinfeld
The Office

Small Wonder was truly one of the funniest, most bizarre shows that I have ever seen. How can you not love a show that features a creepy robot girl that becomes one of the family? If that show was around today and on HBO, it would have been the first girl robot on human boy action.

Seriously, what would go on in someone's mind to think: Lets have the creepy dad make a creepy little girl robot, somehow explain to people that she was adopted and then let the comedy reign down. Man, bad beyond belief.

I apologize to both Lisa Kinzer and Il Padrino for the obvious omission of Alf and Webster. The omission of Silver Spoons was intentional, because I hated ricky Schroeder with a passion. Now Alfonso Ribero on Silver Spoons and The Fresh Prince of Bel Aire, that is a different story.

Which brings me to the most torturous sitcom of all time, the Fresh Prince. I am blinded by hatred for Will Smith to this day.
