I'm always one step ahead of you. Time for you to back to the kiddie pool.

So when you typed "let's (let us) not get carried away" you were talking not to those in this thread, and not even to those on the board, but instead to the previously unidentified proprietors of the web site you linked, or perhaps to the authors of htat list? How did I miss that? I concede that you will always be able to prevail in discussions with unidentified persons and involving un-revealed web sites. Congratulations. I iwll leave you to your kingdom, where I am sure you will be very satisfied.

I didn't realize that the opinions of the outside world didn't matter to you. Yes, I had read about this source listing the Mission as #1 yesterday evening.

I didn't say they didn't matter, but as only you are a qualified miond reader on this site, I had no idea that when you started this thread, you were arguing with or even responding to that web site and it's list, as oppsoed to looking for dialog here. Oddly enough, I usually respond to what people type in threads, as oppsoed to what thye were thinking about the evening before they typed it and which thoughts they decided not to put in the thread. Again, obviously my error and I appreciate yourt magnanimous patience.

Sure, but is it the BEST FILM EVER? You didn't say it was.

"best ever" is sometimes a figure of speech. To whom on this board did I attribute "best ever" to? No one.

Waters earlier:

Let's not get carried away. The Mission is . . . [n]ot necessarily the best film ever.
Not close enough for you? Chalk another mistake up for me, I guess.

Also, so if "best ever" is a figure of speech for you in this thread, then you really weren't referring to the web site that said it was the best religious film ever? Now I am very confused, but you already knew that.

Creekster must have been thinking of the other lists that come up when you google "best religious films", all of which have a different #1 selection.

Good idea. I'll be in the kiddie pool, so let me know when I can come over and read it.
