Stripes, Fast Times and Risky Business are three of the defining films for males who graduated from high school in either 1981, 1982 or 1983. Those are shining examples of true art.
Stripes: scene where John gets home from driving his cab and his girlfriend, Anita, is getting dressed....also, mud wrestling scene between Ox and female wrestlers..

Fast Times: aforementioned Phoebe Cates scene, also, scene with Stacey and Mike Damone in the poolhouse

Risky Business: 6 words: "Are you ready for me, Ralph?"

You are either older than you say you are or rented these on recommendation by an older brother.

Option 3: I am rad.

I vote for option 3.

I'll concede that you know yourself a bit better than I know you.

Rad it is. Or are you gnarley?

I'm just glad to hear you're not bogus.

There are those here who are bogus. I do not fall into that category.

Pop culture trivia is a hobby of mine. Plus, as you said, the 3 movies you cited are classics. Quoting them is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Agreed. Great quotes from all those movies. Plus, the soundtracks from Fast Times and Risky Business are very cool. I especially like the "Having sex on the train" music, though it did cause me to get a speeding ticket between Fillmore and Beaver back in about '85 or '86.

That music was by Tangerine Dream, by the way. The same band that scored the music when he was watering the flowers and taking out the trash, as well as the opening monologue where he says "The dream is always the same..."

FYI, Guido referred to it as the "choo choo."

I didn't realize it was Tangerine Dream. Nice bit of trivia there.

I remember Guido calling it the choo-choo. But then, I thought Guido was a sissy. A true tough guy would have spiked the egg rather than toss it and give Joel a chance to catch it. Then he would have shot Joel.

"Joel, how much you give me for the artsy farsty thing?"

You know more quotes than I from that movie.
