We won't know till next Spring. See ya. I'm on the Bainbrifge ferry to visit my older kids. I'll take my 7 year old boy to martial arts. Not really my cup of tea, but hey...

Could be. This is from the 1997 version. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a new edition since then. Like I said, I thought the policy required dads to be there. So either I was mistaken or I have an old copy of the manual with me.

I am guessing you folks are confusing Cub scouts with Boy scouts. Cub scouts are only allowed on campouts if a father attends.

In my mind, it was very clear that it was 11 year old scouts that had to have a dad present, but apparently not. Not to say I'm not confused on a multitude of others things, though. |

Go out and buy the best sleeping bag and air mattress available and then take a bunch of NyQuil before bed. This will take care of the night and the day stuff ends up being great one on one with your son.

That sounds like great advice.

Better yet, don't bring a sleeping bag. Bring sheets and quilts. There is no reason to bring a sleeping bag, other than ease and convenience, if you are using an air mattress.

Do they make big sleeping bags? I hate that sleeping bags only come to my chest.
