Default Beck and Dolphins are on MNF on ESPN

Instead of being ambiguous, call out those 1 or 2 out by name.

What a horrible game. I'm fortunate enough to have missed most of the game, coming in right before Pittsburgh's FG.

For what it's worth, I don't think you can blame Beck for this one. He made some bad throws, yeah, but I would say that about half of the incompletions were dropped balls.

Point two is that Miami had eight people blocking for Beck on some plays, leaving two eligible receivers. And he would still get sacked within three seconds. Miami's ineptitude extends well beyond any rookie woes that one could pin on Beck.

I think if I am a Miami fan, I'm encouraged by Beck. He didn't look like a deer in headlights, although he did look a little happy-feet-ish, and didn't quite have the zip on some of his throws that I expect from a NFL QB. I thought it was a pretty decent performance for a 2nd game.

I'll forgive him the lack of zip in this particular game, given how wet it was. I haven't heard anybody from Miami complain that Beck throws the ball too soft. Happier feet might have served him well, since he was on the run for so much of the night.

I may not be an objective viewer, but Beck seemed to be one of the brighter spots on what is an otherwise dismally poor team right now.

how were they dismally poor? they almost beat one of the top teams in the NFL? They've barely lost 6 games now.

More of the "everyone sucks except Beck" Mormon spin machine.

I guess that since five or six of their losses were by less than three, they shouldn't count as full losses. Let's say they're 0-5.7 right now.

That reminds me. Does anybody else hate those "Somebody almost gave" commercials that are on right now? "Somebody almost gave this drug addict a dollar. And he almost invested it in a fortune 500 company turned his life around. And you almost didn't go to hell for neglecting the poor."

Who invented those "almost" commercials? Ron McBride?

Lol I'm with you. Are there more depressing and guilt-tripping commercials on TV today?

"You almost gave a can of soup to the homeless man on the freeway on-ramp.

He almost used it to save an orphanage from pirate attacks.

You almost saved the future president of Mexico from death by cutlass."
