I didn't see to many parallels between the two...

At the very least, you don't have to endure a hokey Bill Pullman speech...that should be enough to get you to the theater right there.

I'm schocked at the run Transformers has been getting on CB and here.

I didn't not like it because I was unable to suspend reality. I just thought the fight scenes were boring as heck. And they took too long to resolve the end. The last hour and a half could have been done in 30 minutes. The first hour was fun.

Pirates was much more realistic, IMO : )

It's hard for me to rate these movies because I would never see them without kids. But Pirates was better than Transformers. Pirates 2 was awful. Haven't been subjected to Pirates 3 yet. Transformers was about on par with Spiderman 3.

Some thought the plot of Pirates was confusing...

...it's a disney movie about Pirates...how confusing could it be?

I liked both movies...Transformers was better...
