Anyone seen Once?
It's a very different kind of musical. Irish film. One of the songs from it won an Oscar. It's not a musical in the sense of people singing their lines like Evita. But it's still a musical.
Farrah talked me into watching it, and I enjoyed it, esp. for something I had low expectations for. Shot in 17 days for 100,000 bucks. Here's the opening credit that starts with a song. |

Yeah, I liked it. It was different, kinda like you were eavesdropping on the two main characters.
It was a refreshingly non emotionally-manipulative story.

I haven't but would like to. They play the song that won an Oscar on VH1 every morning.
