Wow, you're trying to break Indy Coug's record on CB are you?
Signed Kettle.

About Mesa:
I think we used to be kind of friendly towards each other. But lately he started nipping at my heels and pissing me off with his various comments. So what do we know about Mesa: his wife cheated on him and left him (this is part of the public cougarboard record). He is now divorced. He was unemployed for a while, now lives in Utah. He's back in the dating scene, had an interesting date where his date got drunk, tried to lay him, but he walked away. He is getting more and more self-righteous and seems to be increasingly irritable and angry. This is not a lot of data to go on to evaluate why someone's marriage ended. I think I recall Mesa saying something to the effect that his wife was a rich socal girl (he seemed to think that was the reason, in part). I'm sure there were a number of factors, and as usual in these situations, more than one party was culpable. My original thoughts were "you wanna bring personal attacks? I can bring personal attacks also." Kinda juvenile I know. I should rise above this. But sometimes I find myself being aggressive against my better judgement. |

Mesa's not a bad guy. . .
I had lunch with him a couple of years ago at the ESPNZone in Las Vegas during the MWC basketball tourney. He was a nice guy, pretty laid back, nothing like the way is when he posts. Another guy that is a lot different in person is NorcalCat. I met him a couple of weeks ago at a tailgate before the BC game and he is a good guy. It turns out that we grew up a couple of miles from each other and had some mutual friends. He was the nicest guy in the world. Again, nothing like his board personna.

the only reason they come across as so cool in real life, is because they are starting at the pinnacle of dickness and anything cordial appears like they are the nicest people ever....

The pinnacle of dickness?
Man, I haven't heard that phrase since my wedding night. |
