Pissed off Chinese grad students (prelim) can apparently kill people also.

See, one more lesson to be learned from Jack Bauer:

Don't piss off the Chinese.

Why not make it more difficult to purchase rounds?

I can walk into any Wal-Mart, purchase a large portion of shells without presenting anything save a picture I.D.

Few things that should occur IMO:

a. Stop selling hand guns.

b. Place restrictions on the amount and regulate more thoroughly the ability to purchase hand gun rounds.

Side note, does the VT leadership and local police not look completely incompetent?

Bomb threats, a multiple homicide. Why in the hell was class not called after the first shooting, especially since the 'person of interest' was not apprehended?

With the amount of guns in circulation, it won't matter. Gun control is not the answer, but some answer must be found to correct violent reactions to situations we can't control.

So we throw up our hands and just keep producing and selling guns and munitions like they were hot cakes?

I think you start initially by restricting the ability to purchase rounds. Followed by restricting the new sell of hand guns. Subsequent to this we work on removing guns from the street.

The church, instead of pumping billions into downtown for the building up and edifying of Babylon, should have offered to purchase hand guns for a smooth grr each.

1. Stop selling handguns worldwide? Good luck.

2. Shotguns are more effective than handguns. And not difficult to conceal.

3. Restricting the sale of bullets? Good luck.

4. Why did you forget removing violence from TV and movies? I thought that was one of the answers.

I am a libertarian and believe in the Second Amendment, so I am vehemently opposed to any form of gun control.

I just love the evisceral reactions employed every time a very rare, but tragic event occurs. "Let's rape our entire system on the basis of a few bad facts" is the hue and cry.

Yes, let's throw away the Constitution just because. Wait thePatriot Act did that and nobody cared. Might as well discard the Second Amendment.
