Yeah, the ultimate irony. The refs do their best to give Washington the game for 59 minutes and change, and then suddenly rip it away from the Huskies.

Maybe if the refs would have called some mother****ing holds they wouldn't have had to make it up with that call.

Had that flag been thrown in say the first half, no one says anything about it, but because it was at the end of the game, the announcers say they "absolutely disagree with it" over and over again. Locker knew he shouldn't have done it, and "absolutely disagree with it" or not, it was the right call.

With Locker in their backfield, I wonder if Willingham would have gone for two sans the penalty.

I agree. Was it blocked or did he just miss it? I was helping my daughter with something.

At any rate, I think it was bogus.

Also, I realize Locker is an absolute specimen, but this game certainly exposed our lack of athleticism on D.

On the bright side, I hope this gets the OOC away monkey off our back.

apparently UW didn't scout the Las Vegas bowl from last year.

I agree that the call was lame. Just remember that's usually us getting that call (ASU anyone?). You guys make it sound like UW had to hit a 50 yard FG to get that extra point.

Totally agree. I guess their thinking may have been that you don't want to have everybody up ten yards from the kick and somehow allow a Washington player to miraculously break past everybody with the ball.

The BYU guys obviously shouldn't have rushed the field after the block -- that made the situation more dangerous.
