Default Did anybody see the speed today?

Now I could be in error, but I could have sworn up L'Alpe d'Huez, to have seen a speed over 17 miles per hour.

I'm happy up a steep climb going 11 sometimes 12 mph. And when one is plodding up such a hill, that means those guys fly by you. Sometimes my speed even drops below ten mph. Has anybody ever gone much slower for a prolonged climb?

What is the longest climb anybody has done? I think mine is 17 to 19 miles, but my wife has climbed 21 miles.
