Default Anyone read the "Dark Tower" series?

by Stephen King.

If so, what did you think. Also what is it really about?

I'm intrigued.

I have read all but the final book of the series. As for what it is about? Well it is a bit to elaborate to really define. It has got all types of mythology, popular culture, science fiction, horror, etc. spun together with the typical Stephen King obsessions in it. I am interested to read the final book, but I am not rushing out to do so.

I actually enjoyed the final book, and the ending most of all. It made we kind of want to start over from the beginning and reread them.

I liked the series. I have never really read fantasy, which this I think most closely relates, but it was fun. He uses a lot of genres throughout the series. There is a mix of genres in the books, from western to fantasy to science fiction to Kings "normal" style. Stephen King is really an easy read.

I would recommend the series.
