iff BYU holds on
it will have been a great gut check win, without Jimmer.
I wonder if Jimmer will contribute this season. Sucks to have really gotten started to lose him. Now the team is working tough but really doesn't have a go to player without Jimmer.

Jimmer won't be gone too long. I was back playing within a couple of weeks of being dx'd with mono. Assuming it is not complicated with something like an enlarged spleen.

Rose indicated the spleen was not excessively enlarged. I hope so as the tougher part of the schedule is at the end of January and we won't win in the Pit without Jimmer or in Vegas.

BYU is 18th in latest AP poll. Big jump for 25.
New Mexico and UNLV not ranked. |

I'm really sad Jimmer is out as with him, I think we'd see some blowouts in this stretch. It may pay dividends but everybody recovers from mono at their own speed. Jimmer was hitting a groove though.
This team has nice depth, a great attitude and seems to play well together. I hope the journey continues to be fun. Get well soon Jimmer, as the battle against CSU won't be easy and we'll need you for SDSU, Utah and UNM for certain. This team, if it gets a healthy Jimmer, back could be special by BYU standards.
