Default Gay Gene Fix?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,316316,00.html

This appears more complex than the brief article suggests. But my question is one of speculation.

If and only if, not that I'm predicting it, a genetic correlation is established and properly identified, and a "cure" is found, would gays take the "cure"?

Some would, some wouldn't.

The question is if it becomes ok for LDS young men to get their gay genes fixed, will that make boob jobs ok as well for the young single adult women?

I hope so. I hope they especially allow over thirty single women to get boobs fixed, butts fixed, tummies tucked and a host of other deficiencies including personalities reordered.

I thought boob jobs were a requirement for young single adult women. Didn't GBH tell them to make themselves as attractive as possible. Everyone knows that includes filling out their dress.

And make certain the tummy's tucked before you wear a midriff. I believe some misinterpreted certain instructions about midriffs. There are certainly some women for whom midriffs are inappropriate and unsightly. Didn't I read they have a new midriff optional garment? Also for the athletic but well-developed sister they are presenting boob enhanced garments or padded garments for the boob challenged sisters.

And we're jettisoning that "white" part, because most of us could use a good shot in the tanning booth.

I doubt that the gay people in relationships would take it.

If a gay person has come out of the closet, I doubt many would take a pill to go back. Homosexuality becomes a part of how they define themselves, and I doubt they would want to lose that identity, even if it is easier to be a part of society's norms.

I imagine some Mormon men would take the pill, get married, and then encounter "headaches" and "I'm too tired" and "I'm not in the mood" and ask to have the reverse pill.

THis would go under the "gay men are gay because they are lazy and don't want to work hard to earn the sexual favors of women" theory, which some espouse (I'm not kidding).
