What happens if the Steed fellow who married the Doe gal
is not found guilty of rape?
IIRC, the victim pleaded with the state to not indict Steed. Proves my point, once you get freaky with a chick she may hate your guts but the last thing she wants is for you to become some cheap sex slave sold for a pack of menthols. Perhaps that is what keeps Hef alive....... I have yet to see any serious discussion on this, so I thought I would ask. SeattleUte is even allowed to make reference to unsophisticated draconian cultures who practice polygamy. I love him when he is pompous. From what you folks have read who followed the Jeffs trial, how strong is the case against Steed and how likely do you see a conviction? I would assume that the prosecutor is convinced he can win because if he files and loses, wouldn't Jeffs' defense attorney's have some serious leverage during the appeal process if a court of law found the rapist not guilty?

I don't care what anyone else says, after viewing multiple episodes of the Girls Next Door I'm convinced that Holly is in love with Hef.

Steed is the guy that Jeffs had marry his 14 year old cousin when he was 19, and now he's being charged with rape. I'm not a lawyer, but based on what I've read in the papers she consented to him, so I'm guessing the best they can do is statutory. I really don't know though.
