I think most of you know that I could care less what other people wear to the games. But if people are so serious about the atmosphere then it's fruitless to continue with the wear blue campaign. Watching on TV I could tell absolutely no difference. AA posted a photo that was clear proof that many many more people than ever wore blue but it simply didn't make a difference.

It would take a monster campaign to pull it off in Provo. Here, there were newspaper spreads, billboards, radio spots, P.A. announcements at the first home game, local vendors (of course) selling "special white-out tee-shirts," and a whole lot of buzz for at least a month before the game.

Plus, there's a certain totalitarian component that slack-jawed semi-fascist Pennsylvanians seem comfortable with, but might unnerve a rugged individualist Westerner - if I may generalize.
