Which is why I said, "Let's not make this about me." Did you read?

Pay attention.

That's not an exact quote, but its pretty close.
That's nice for you scholars, but what about us simpletons that read you scholars?

I do agree with the sentiment that the cultural disdain for scholars and their work should be eroded.

OUr ward pretty much does this already for the RS pres, alhtough not the YW. We don't need to have ward ocuncil semi-weekly, however, just make sure the RS is in PEC/Welfare.

A family came over to share family home evening with us this week and the mom said "H-E-double hockey sticks." That phrase shouldn't be in circulation for anyone over the age of 10.

Maybe she posts on CB and is just trying to get past the profanity filter.

I think the recent change to the Book of Mormon is proof that the church shouldn't be worried about telling the truth. I don't know anyone that left the church because of it. By admitting that not all brown people are Lamanites, they basically admitted that countless talks, temple dedication prayers, church lessons, etc. were all wrong. This is an admission of huge proportions and it barely made a wave among members. I hope there is a special place in heaven for the excommunicated members that got booted for telling the truth. I also hope there is a special place in hell for the evil bastard leaders that excommunicated them when they knew they were right. I hope Hitler is there waiting to give it to them up the ass.

Your good point is thoroughly reinforced by your subtlety and humanism.
