Why do you all take these rumors like gospel? It would make a lot of sense if Palin were just a diversion.

I was kind of on the fence* about who I was going to vote for, but if McCain picks Palin he's got my vote. This woman has a better grasp of what America needs in the way of energy policy than either of the two candidates.
And, all modesty aside, as landpoke goes, so goes Wyoming. *The two sides of the fence being McCain and whatever wackjob the libertarians have put up for election.

My fear too but I doubt it because she's a woman. This is kind of a dream ticket for me. I'm really excited.
I don't put much stock in her supposed social coservatism. As we've seen, true, committed social conservativm is the province of furmpy white men.
