Default Senator Martinez quits.

One day after the Senate voted on Sotomayor. Could it be he felt betrayed as a Latino by the Republican remarks re Sotomayor?

I'm sure that was it. Good call.

I don't know why he quit (could be anything), but here are his quotes from this week:

"I believe the Republicans will pay a price for saying 'no' to this judge."

"I will support her, I'll be proud for her, the community she represents, and the American Dream she shows is possible," he said. "I urge my colleagues to do the same."

"In last year's elections, the road to the White House in large part came through the Latino community," said Menendez. "We need to know who is with us, and who is not."

Menendez also accused Senate Republican leaders of doing everything they could to oppose the confirmation of Sotomayor, and called opposition to her despite her qualifications "a slap and an offense to the Hispanic community."

Well if that's how he feels, I will say this: goodbye, dipshit.

Do you think I would vote for a politician or judge if they were of my race, and were opposed to the 2nd amendment?

It's called being principled. I hate dipshits.
