He was just the 5th qb selected. Quite an honor for the pats to take him this high, in the 3rd round.

I always thought he was talented. Good arm, mobile, tall, heady. Would not surprise me to see him as a starter in the NFL down the line.

I thought he would be a good pickup as well.

And one reason to not bemoan his ability to score vs. BYU last year....

Agreed. I think the Pats got a steal with him.

I also think the Dolphins got a steal with Chad Henne. You don't start for 4 years in the Big Ten and suck.

Henne isn't any good. I watched enough of him over the last few years to be completely underwhelmed.

Remember that Henne beat out Matt Guiterrez who is now the 3rd quarterback in New England.

I proudly did not know who Henne was until the draft conversation started.

I couldn't name most QBs in the Big 10.

Man, I don't get it. SDSU had their QB and 2 WR's taken in the draft!! You woulda thought their offense woulda been a little better.
