HP lessons are better than EQ lessons because the old fart teaching it is retired and doesn't have to balance dealing with kids and a job and trying to prepare a lesson in the precious little "free time" remaining.

The reason why doesn't bother but in terms of taking it in, it helps to have people who've thought more about the lesson. Plus I don't relate being in a room with crying babies and guys talking about their first jobs.

Not in my ward. The younger guys in the quorum do more than their share of teaching. Furthermore, it's the group discussion as much as it is the lesson instructor that makes the difference.

Ironically, the older guys in my ward are less mullah-ish in their outlook (with some notable exceptions) than many of the younger guys in the EQ. I think time and experience have mellowed them.

Our hPG lessons are superior too (and I taught EQP for many years but never HPG so this conclusion goes against my own bias). I think Lebowski is right about the reason. It has more to do wiht the wealth of ewxperience in the memebrs than the limited time of the EQ instructor.

How do you know if they are superior if you are not hearing the lessons in EQ?

Did I mention I taught there for years until ordained HP?

How do you know not raping the wyoming land is superior since you aren't there?

Default the lessons are the same.

The input from experienced , older members is what makes the difference. I was put in at 29 and remember these old gray haired members. They'd look asleep, and then POW!! They'd come alive and start discussing something from a level I had not yet seen.

From my observation, there's nothing like having teenagers to knock the burnish off of someone's self-righteousness.

Most of the truly annoying members of the north foyer conformity committee, most of the sychopants and holier-than-thous, are under the age of 40.

I can't wait until I going into the HP group.

No more having to help new move-ins with their furniture.....or move-outs with their unpacked boxes of garments and old stuff under the sink.
