Default "Blocking out" at the MTC

I played on my high school basketball team, as did Cardiac. CardiacCoug was one of the best basketball players in the entire state (2nd to only Robbie Reid in 3-pt percentage and FT percentage). I was a good shooter/point guard, but not a star. I did know how to block out properly.

During one of my 30 minute weekly exercise sessions at the MTC, we were playing basketball. I blocked someone out a couple of times, and he accused me of being gay because I used my butt to back him away from the hoop. He went nuts, and he tried to beat me up.

Moral to the story: don't block out people who don't know what it means to block someone out, or they'll think you're gay--especially in the MTC, where we are "showered" with images of naked fellow elders as we wash ourselves before the tree of life.

On another gay note, we used to super glue quarters to the floor of the MTC showers.
