Default Homemade potato chips

are way better than homemade french fries, IMO.

I made some chips tonight and they turned out quite well. Instead of frying, I tossed the chips w/ oo, threw them in at 400 for 15 minutes and immediately salted afterward. With a side of BBQ sauce for dipping it's a nice Sunday evening snack.

Churros sound kind of hard to make. I'll be honest, my experience with churros is limited to the movie theater and mall food court. We don't have anything approaching authentic Mexican here in the midwest. It'd be fun to try so please post the recipe.

I got the chip recipe here:

The BBQ sauce I use is a Cincinnati favorite, Montgomery Inn brand. It's kind of sweet with a strong molasses base.

You dont need a churro gun. Just use a cake icer with the star tip.

Churros are easy...and yummy. And filled with mexican goodness.
