now that wells fargo isn't paying for a cell phone for me to use... i've recovered my xxx-byu1 number... it's still t-mobile. question is, what one do i want? is this a good one?

is it worth just paying the $100? what service do you go through? i know nothing about cell phones anymore... i'm assuming I'll have to buy an internet/data plan with it or something?

If you go blackberry you have to subscribe to a blackberry specific plan. Usually a limited data one and an unlimited one are all that are available.

okay, so for $59.99/mo. blackberry plan i can get 1000 whenever (normal talking cell phone) minutes and unlimited internet and email?

SO do you have an existing plan with T-Mobile? I know that through Amazon.com you could pick up a new Blackberry Pearl for free with contract.

If not, I have seen unlocked blackberry pearls going for pretty cheap too. And yes that plan should be fine.

yeah... i've been a t-mobile customer for a while. i took a position at Wells at the beginning of the year and they gave me a cell phone. i didn't want to lose my byu1 number so i let my mom use it and take over the t-mobile plan while in that position. now that i'm with key, i have the byu1 number back, but i lost my unlimited mobile-to-mobile and text messaging. so i'm out of the loop as far as plans go, especially when it comes to pda's, etc. i look for a blackberry or something similar to it. thanks for your help!
