Default Goodbye and Good Riddance

I had kind of forgotten why I loath Huckabee. I watched part of his concession speech and immediately remembered. He said this isn't the last we'll see of him. I hope he was speaking only to viewers of CBN.

Is he going to pass along his delegates to McCain too?

Well, you have to at least admit how impressive it is to quote a Bible verse every other sentence and still sound relatively coherent. He's clearly still hoping for VP. Could he have been any more obvious with his closing suck up to McCain?

He asked his voters to unite behind McCain. He also said he was proud of what a respectful, positive campaign he and his supporters ran.

His words brought to mind a favorite Bible passage, found in the NIV.

Proverbs 18:6
A fool's lips bring him strife, and his mouth invites a beating.

Or perhaps he should take to heart 17:28
Even a fool, when silent, appears wise.

So Romney edged Huck on the delegate count. At least he's got that going for him, which is nice. A moral victory.
