I don't know about who's the better big game coach, but head to head I give KW a HUGE advantage.

Bronco's up 2-1, but two were at home, and all three we were favorites. The two we won we were heavy favorites and needed miracles to win. I'd say all three games KW outcoached Bronco.

But Seattle has a point, not just rivalry games, but other big games how has Bronco fared?

I'd say fifty-fifty.

He lost to Cal in the bowl game, but defeated Oregon handily, and barely won against UCLA.

He is something akin to one and two against TCU, and hasn't won very many top 25 games. It's hard to say. I don't see him motivating the team to over perform very often, but until this season had few games where they had under performed drastically.

Why do you say this? Did he do something that I can't recall?

Name some big games since they have both been head coaches.

Did we have to beat utah's second string QB's and Asiata wasn't playing. Not sure about Casteel.

Do you think he's a major league asshole for the same reason that many Utah fans think Mendenhall is a major league asshole?

Not sure

Bronco can annoy me, so I definitely can see why some ute fans dislike him.

Kyle has always rubbed me the wrong way. The whole holding Joe Glenn "accountable" thing just highlighted his lack of class and pettiness. But hey, same as with Bronco, if he was my team's coach knocking on BCS door, I really wouldn't care if he was an asshole or not.

Ok - you're talking about the onside kick. I didn't like it and wouldn't have done it myself.

My opinion of KW is based on personal interaction with him at events like Crimson Club luncheons, the coach's show on Thursdays, fanfest and the spring game. I'm guessing if you were to have the same interaction with him, you'd feel differently about him.

I have no problems with Mendenhall. I think he's a decent man who is just trying to do his best and trying to cater to what he may think the fan base is like. If anything, hisstatements like the one about fans needing to prove their fan worth to the team - I may no have that right at all - make me laugh.

Someone please tell me this ain't so.

1) Austin Collie was the one giving the halftime speech at the Air Force which fired up the team. We scored 21 3rd quarter points after being down.

2) Jan Jorgenson said that BYU is too 'workman like' at times with no fire.

3) Bronco said he does not like 'game day'?

If true, that answers your question.

I want Bronco to win football games. I'll let the players' religious leaders work on helping them to become perfect. I want Bronco to have a perfect season in football!
