really? I must have misunderstood, as well.

In the context of her story, she says her husband had the right idea all along.....so her husband was simply encouraging her to take care of things herself? She didnt believe him, she saw it on TV, went and bought KY, and now everything is better because she now takes care of things herself?

Seems like they still arent getting it right.

True story. I was eating breakfast in a Taco Bell in Provo before a BYU game last year. It was early and my daughter and I were the only ones in the whole restaurant. A family came in and the wife came over and asked me if they could have our table. They were in town for the game and that was the table that hubby proposed at all those years ago.

I identified with the part in the article about the bridegroom breaking every traffic rule to get to the hotel. That was Mike, except we hit a blockade about a block from the place. They had closed several Portland streets to prepare for the Rose parade.

Oh, and Mike's mom kept calling us in the hotel room. She called us right after we got there, and then several more times throughout the weekend.
We passed up my mother- and father-in-law on the interstate on the way to the hotel on our wedding night. And when I say "passed up" I mean we really flew by them. That was embarrassing.
