Amen, Brother Junkie!

The Ryder Cup is back where it belongs.

That was fun to watch today. The US team was nails all weekend and to win it with 3 matches still going made it more enjoyable.

What is the significance of the Ryder cup in terms of the national pride I should have in the victory? For example, USA basketball doesn't inspire much patriotism in me...but, an American winning Wimbledon does.

How far back does this Ryder cup go?

Amen. Great weekend of golf. Anthony Kim is my new favorite golfer. Boo Weekley aims to replace John Daly as America's favorite redneck golfer. Man, he was awesome. And the fact that he got Lee Westwood's knickers in knot makes it even sweeter.

I am sure that the Euros thought they'd have an easy time with Tiger out (though he historically has sucked). Azinger put together a great team. The shots hit all around by both teams this weekend have been spectacular.

The Ryder Cup is fun because of the fan interaction and emotion of the players. I wish golf tournaments were always like the Ryder Cup.

I believe this was the 37th Ryder Cup. It's played every other year and goes back and forth between The US and the UK to play.

It's golf's version of the Olympics, though only the US and Europe field a team.
