Hippie Crash Update:
I'm back up and walking like a normal person today. There is a 4" x 7" section of my calf missing and my left arm (from elbow to wrist) is a gooey, slimy mess but at least it has stopped stinging.
The PI shorts I was wearing are done for. I'm not sad... A part of them will always be with me... Seriously... I think there is a part of them stuck in the flesh of my left butt cheek. Mrs. Hippie informed me that today I should start feeling the muscle and bone aches since the accute pain of the cuts and gashes is starting to fade... YAY for Ibuprofen!

Maybe one or two more days until the bandages come off for good. If I can just get the skin to heal to the point where it doesn't crack and bleed every time I move I think I'll go for a ride.
How do the guys from TdF get right back on the bike the next day after a serious road rash? |

Don't let it get dry to the point that it's going to crack and bleed. Neosporin is your friend. Use it liberally.
