Haws was fast but couldn't jump. His best game was against Pittsburgh and it was downhill from there.

Mike Waters could defend TJ and keep him from scoring. TJ is non-athletic but might become smart.

This bullcrap team is making me long for Jonathan Tavernari. He would be heady and unselfish compared to these guys.

Its learning curve is huge.

The guards are useless right now. They don't take good shots, they make bad decisions, and are a liability in total.

The frontline would be very, very good but for the horrific play of the guards.

Too bad Emery is not more like his brother. Plays big, great defense, takes open shots when the game comes to him, heady, team player.

Emery plays small, poor gambling defense, takes any shot he can, when he passes it's always an outlet pass, never an assist, not heady, and selfish.

CBers sure love their slow, unathletic white guys.

Haws makes a couple of loping layups and hits a banked-in 3 pointer and suddenly he should be the starting point guard. Never mind that he can't guard his own wallet, much less an opposing player.

Haws is 1 for his last 12 3-point attempts (from the ones I saw, most of them were bricks). The one he made was the banked-in semi-desperation attempt.

He can't guard, can't shoot and makes bad passes, what's not to like?

Should definitely give him a ton of minutes and increase his usage rate.

Aren't you guys the ones who early in his career proclaimed Anson Winder to be the worst recruit in the history of the school? I don't love how Haws has played so far, but it's 8 games into his career, three years removed from competitive ball. Should he get some time on the bench? Sure. And he did in the last game for several minutes only to come back in at the end and make 6 of 8 shots. I don't think he's going to be completely worthless.

I can't remember that far back. But Archaea pumped Winder his entire career, presumably due to the Las Vegas connection.

Winder was one of those guys who mysteriously sat on the bench for reasons that Rose can only know. (barring when he was hurt).

Rose just doesn't care about defense. He doesn't play guys who are defensive specialists.

I don't know exactly how TJ is going to turn out. It can't get much WORSE than this. So that's good.

This guy was built up to be a stud. You know, someone who was going to lead us to the promised land.

In an era when 19yo phenoms play meaningful minutes in the NBA, here we have an RM who looks like he belongs on a Div III team, in terms of athleticism. It's jarring and worrisome.

If he had a great basketball brain, that would be one thing. But that is not in evidence yet. His basketball IQ right now looks no better than average at best. And that is BAD NEWS for a slow, pasty white guy who can't shoot or defend.
