Default I was slow and had some problems, but I finished another Half Marathon

I was feeling a lot of pain in my back and my thigh about 10 days ago and had only run once since then (tuesday), but I was feeling pretty good this morning before the half, but then about a mile in, I started cramping up in my calf. I kept going and after a couple more miles, the cramping was gone and I started speeding back up again. I felt great and passed some few people up until about the 12 mile mark, then my right foot (same spot where I had the tendinitis a while back) started hurting quite a bit, then about a half mile later, my thigh started hurting, but I pushed through and finished at 2:19:46, which I am happy with, considering the problems I had, plus it was just 5 minutes more than my Provo River half that was nearly all downhill.

I hate running. Good for you for pushing through.

Nice job. Can I request that you dedicate your next run to me?

I'm in the "I hate running" camp with Danimal, but more power to those who do it.

No offense but that is kinda wussy. Last time I did a long run, I started getting some cramping in my calf. You know what I did? I whipped out my swiss army knife and I just cut out my calf. Cramping gone and then I heroically finished the race.

Girlyman. I cramped up once during a race, and hobbled over to a guy who was cutting down a tree in his yard with a chainsaw. He cut off my leg at the hip, and I finished the race running on my hands.
