Default Will Ludwig survive and remain OC at Utah?

Ludwig was absolutely brutal at the beginning of the year before getting in a groove as the season went on before having what many felt had a brain fart against BYU. Personally, I think he is pretty much garbage and Utah's key to success came from the defensive side of the ball with Utah winning in spite of the offense not withstanding the play of Mack.

Kyle was asked a few weeks ago on the radio if he was happy with how Ludwig has progressed throughout the season and Kyle wouldnt give him a vote of confidence. Kyle said that they assess their coaches based on the whole season and not just a few games, so after the bowl game he will reassess all of the coaches and go from there.

I sure hope so. He is a great OC, I heard that from many of the Ute faithful when he got shit canned here in Eugene. MP, runnutz and others wanted to tell me how amazing he was as he had coached David Carr!

Next year is a pivotal year for Kwhit.

If he goes another year without a MWC Title then I think his job will be in serious jeopardy.

Facing the possibility of 4 years at the helm with no titles isn't something I'm sure Chris Hill would tolerate.

If KWhit wants to move the program up I think he needs to get rid of Ludwig. Therefore I hope he keeps him.

Default I still say...

That you don't hire an OC for BJ's senior year. I think you wait until after next year.

Good point. You don't want to change systems on a Senior QB.

I never said that Ludwig was amazing. I said that I was unsure if the problems in Eugene were the result of Ludwig or as a result of Belotti's handling of Ludwig. I said from the beginning I was concerned about Ludwig's hiring, but would give him a chance. Never did I say that he was a great coach.
