I dropped by Fox News online and saw this headline and story and just thought I'd note that it's men like these that make me reverence the name, American.

Tragedy. These guys were heroes.

However, I see this as more the courage of human beings. Not the courage of one particular nation.

All Americans should aspire to have their courage and self-sacrifice. But I would broaden that to "all human beings" should aspire to them.

It is amazing that some of the most important people in our society:

Police men
Fire men
School teachers

They are all the most underpaid. These are the ones that teaching our kids and protecting us...
