Default Aunt Sally likes coffee

Okay, so I'm maybe considering applying to BYU, but they want me to sign some kind of honor statement that I won't partake of tea while a student. Why? There's no way I'd go a single day without a green tea, and I don't see much honor in signing a statement indicating otherwise. According to Wikipedia, non-members comprise 2% of the student population. But with these requirements, I'm surprised they can get that many. No tea. harumph. Next they're going to tell me I can't wear tank tops.

It's an honor code!! I'm not going to lie.

And besides, how would I explain my "herbal tea" that comes in a smirnoff bottle?

it's not an honor code. It's a code of conduct.

Interesting. It's clearly labeled "honor code."

Welcome to the culture of the BYU.

Those are the scholarship athletes. They can drink tea and pretty much do anything they want except gang rape, because BYU sports are needed as missionary tools. How fast is your 100m?

Forget BYU. Think Mississippi. You can drink all the tea (sweet tea) you want here.

And you'll have to get it off campus, of course. Along with other things that aren't even in the honor code, like caffeinated drinks of any kind (ie soda).

I don't even remember what the honor code said. Interestingly, the only part I rdo emember is no shorts above the knee. That's the key to righteous, honorable living after all. Now I'm curious to see what else is in that thing.
