Exactly.

I think for some -- for very few -- it is a small series of choices. And a child is more likely to make those small series of choices if a beloved uncle is in a loving and happy same-sex marriage. Those small choices may not result in a gay life, but the choices may be made nevertheless, and the likelihood that they will be made is greater because of his uncle.

For most others, I don't think there is much of a choice.

I guess being judged without compassion on a message board such as this ought to be a badge of honor. You have no idea what I've experienced in my life.

Get off your damn white horse.

Is this your field?

I said earlier that I find taking Tex seriously to be a waste of time.

We have all had our differences here. But Tex refuses to be part of the group...shares no basic personal information.....is evasive in his answers....and is as predictable as Snipe when he does chime in.

"Tex" is simply an internet persona. So why bother engaging a cartoon character?

Do you deny that for some non-zero population of people that homosexuality truly can be a choice, or at the very least be the byproduct of a household or society where traditional social mores no longer serve as a guide?

I understand that "is this your field?" is to you what "cite?" is to IndyCoug.

Can you honestly say that the legitimization of gay marriage (and therefore of gay sex) will not result in greater numbers having sexual experiences with members of the same sex?

How about I ride up on my white horse and help your down off your cross? We can then dismount together. It has been your choice to not humanize yourself in any way shape or form here and elsewhere. All one can see is the attitudes you have and they are without compassion. I bet you aren't like this in person, though.

I'm trying to decide if this statement is more insulting than it is inaccurate.
