The Tech game will be a dandy, but I worry the special teams might cost you that game as possessions will be valuable. And Tech can play defense. Wilcox is a heck of a lineman.

While I believe that Texas would rout the Utes, I'd still rather see them get a shot at a decent team than a lousy ACC or Big East team. I am still ticked about the '04 Fiesta Bowl opponent.

It's a no-win situation for the non-BCS teams. The BCS wusses may throw us a bone to claim that they have the best interest of college football in mind, but they won't risk the chance of giving non-BCS teams a chance to beat their best.

I agree, but you don't get credit for winning and are berated for losing precisely because the BCS has built itself to be superior from the start. The media idiots just jumped on the bandwagon.

I kinda think the ACC and Big Least should be relegated to the status of the MWC, or we could go in on rotations.

I know, but you suggested that the no-win was because of the presumption and arrogance on the part of the favored team. That's not the reason for the no-win -- that's the reason for the upset.

The reason it's a no-win lies in the false assumptions upon which the BCS rests.
