I am inactive and totally uninterested, but I love BYU football. I don't care about the university or any other sport. My inactive status gets re-affirmed when I'm around a lot of BYU fans. We are the dorkiest fans in college football. Everything from the showy opening prayer to popcorn popping on the apricot tree. I can only imagine what visiting fans think. If BYU did away with football, I would have to find some other team to cheer for, but I don't think I would have the same passion.

You have never been to a football game at BYU?

There is definitely an opening prayer.

One of these times, it would be awesome if the person prayed for BYU's safety and invoked massive injury and suffering on the visiting team.

If I were asked to give the prayer at the game, I would ask everyone to kneel first.
